FAQs

Is Sold by Data free?

Yes, completely free for sellers. We earn a referral fee from the agent only when a transaction closes. The seller never pays anything.

What makes you different?

Are the agent identities hidden in the report?

4

Yes, agent names are anonymized in the report. Once you connect with us and a referral agreement is signed, you will see full agent names, contact information, and brokerage details.

5

How will I get the report?

We’ll email it to you within a business day and walk you through it if you would like. Want to prioritize a fast sale? Do you have time, and is getting the highest price most important? Want someone from the neighborhood? We got you on all fronts.

Can an agent pay to rank higher?

6

No. Agent rankings are determined entirely by MLS performance data. There are no paid placements, no sponsored positions, and no way for an agent to influence their ranking other than by performing well.

What if I already have an agent in mind?

7

You can still use your report to see how your preferred agent ranks compared to others in your zip code. If they perform well by the data, that’s a great sign. If they don’t appear in your top 3, it’s worth understanding why.

What data source does Sold by Data use?

8

All data is sourced from CRMLS, the California Regional Multiple Listing Service, which covers San Diego County and surrounding Southern California markets. The report date and number of records analyzed are shown at the top of your report.
